Good morning.   Sure hope you are having a great Sunday.  We are off doing some family fun stuff today.  I am looking forward to enjoying the sun, food and the family.

{S.S.} Believe With All Your Heart

Hi everyone!!  I have to say that I had a SUPER exciting weekend!!!

My baby sister got engaged this weekend and her fabulous fiancé , included us in a scavenger hunt he had set up for her!!  So excited for both of them!!!  So anywho... I got so much crafting this weekend, that when it came to completing this weeks card for Sentimental Sundays, I completely lost all mojo!!

It just vanished!!  I colored the image 4 times, then I tried the chalkboard technique another 4...

I was DONE!!!

So today, I had to head to the other side of town and made a pit stop at Michaels! Browsed and browsed, before stopping at the Deco Foil.  So this foiling stuff seems to be the new craze now and figured I'd give it a try!!  Came home and tried 4 times and the foil would not transfer completely!!

So I had one more sheet left, give it one more shot!! 

Now... Isn't that image just gorgeous!!??  We are being sponsored by PolkaDoodles and I wanted to badly to use this image. This image is form January's release, which is absolutely amazing but, then I saw March's release... OMG!!!  You really ought to seek them out if you've haven't already!!! 

 So now you see why, I was so determined.  You can't really can't see the foil in this image but, if you look at the sentiment in the upper left and then at the image you can see it's sort of green. 

I had to take this picture at a weird angle, so that I could capture the foil on camera but, isn't that cool!?!?!?!  It looks so pretty in person!!  I can see this becoming very addicting!!!  LOL

{S.S.} One Layer

Morning everyone-

I hope your day is going good so far.  It is lightly drizzling this morning and I am loving the gloomy weather.  My hubby wants to spend a few hours doing some manly chores around the house but, I think it's going to be a relaxing kick back kind of day!!

Today at Sentimental Sundays, our weekly theme is: ONE LAYER

I am using a beautiful image from Power Poppy called Gerbera Daisies

The sentiment is part of the stamp, which make this set even more beautiful.  When coloring this image, I kept thinking of my two very good online girlfriends!!  We chat all the time... about everything... Just last week, all three of us were having very bad, no good,  terrible kind of days!!!  On the same day!!!  It was the craziest thing.  I have amazing online friends and I hope to meet them in person one day!!!  

So...set the lobby stuff aside!!  My single layer card was colored using my Prismacolor Pencils!

I had them out already, so I figured why not!!!  You know one thing I love about coloring with pencils!!  You can leave your creation and come back to it!! You can add layers and layers of color, without it getting sticky and mistakes can easily be fixed.

Good morning everyone- 

How was your Valentine's weekend?  Did you get yummy chocolates and flowers? Pretty homemade cards from hubby and the kids?  Well I didn't get the flowers and chocolate, but I did get the cards, which mean so much more too me.  Of course hubby managed to surprise me with a crafty little present as well...So it was a great weekend.  I know some of us, still have Valentine's on our minds, which brings me to this weeks challenge over at Sentimental Sundays. 

This week we are still celebrating Valentine's Day, so come by and pay us a visit.

Hi everyone- 

Ok...for my state side friends...Did you see the game?   I didn't.. LOL!!

The two teams that played this year, I don't particularly care for and besides, I've been in my pajamas all weekend remember.  I did catch up on a few episodes of "Fringe"....Love that show!!

So today at Sentimental Sundays, we are celebrating "Weddings/Anniversarries".   It's sad to say, but I do not give out many anniversary cards, unless it's my honey of course.  So I just loved this weeks challenge.

Hi everyone- 

I am having a very unproductive week.  All I want to do is lie under my covers and sleep for hours.   I know what that means...I am getting sick.  I already have a cough and body just aches all over.  As much I am doing everything I can to avoid it, I know its coming. 

Well...it's Friday and you still have sometime to join us this week at Sentimental Sundays.  Our sponsor is Sweet Pea Stamps and OMG...the artist that the carry, will make your section for a digital image to play with so difficult. 

I decided upon an image by designer: Ching-Chou Kuik: Misty Allure

The card itself is an A2 size, just to give a size perspective.  In coloring this beautiful image, I've added a few Copic refills to my list!!  LOL.  I not overly pleased with the card, but I do like it.  

I think my intentions were all in the right place, just need to practice a little more. 

Here is a better look of the sentiment, which I embossed in gold.  The sentiment is from Gina K Designs: Pretty as a Peacock.  I did leave the card simple, just because I didn't want to take away from the image itself.  I hop you like it and will join us over at Sentimental Sundays.

Good afternoon everyone.
My post for Sentimental Sundays, is going up a little late this week.  We have a family crisis on our hands and I don't think it is even over yet.  My FIL told us his week, no said "NO one said raising kids was easy!!"  So without boring you with the details, let me share with you my card for this weeks challenge.

This card was prompted by the fact that my son is studying/practicing to take his drivers test!!
Can i tell you how scared I am!!!  OMG.... We recorded him, while he practiced in one car... AHHH.... I thought he was going to drive the car into the ditch!!  LOL
They all have to start somewhere right!!  Driving for him, will provide him with a boost of self-dependency and the confidence to be amongst these other crazy drivers!!  hehehe So wish us luck.

Good morning my crafty friends... It;s been raining since yesterday and I LOVE it, because I don't have to leave the house for nothing!!!  I love the rain, but I really despise driving in it.  I have seen some horrific car accidents while living over seas and the thought of it possibly being me....NAH!!

I am using this super cute image called Puppy- Enough Reindeer?

Can you just feel the disappointment in his heart!!!  This watery eyes really did my heart in!!

I used wet embossing on my card today.  I used my Versa Mark Pen, to apply the ink on the bells and floor beneath him before covering it with clear and sparkly embossing powder.

Good morning-

It's been a rough month for me.  I got sick and then sicker from the medicine I was on.  So it has been a no fun zone around here.  Hubby has been making it his priority to make sure that I get better and I have.  I LOVE that man!! :)

I just have some cleaning up in the garden to do today.  I cleaned house all day yesterday, so I figured I would give my crafty area a break before making it a mess again!!  :)

I love her eyes!!  So pleased with how well they turned out. 

I applied glaze to the eyes, nails, earrings and ring but, it was really hard to take a good picture, I'll try again later.

When I GROW up....

Yes, this is very cool fire truck!!  :)  I made this card for my very good friend's, who's fiance just graduated from the Fire Academy!!  We are all very excited and proud of him.  So I thought it would be fun to create this for him!! 

I cut out the left window..Can you see the colored image peeking through the vellum?

The only way to capture this shot, was to lay the card flat so that you could see the image.

Here is the cute image inside the card.  Isn't he adorable!?!?!?

Hi everyone!

It has taken me a bit longer than I expected to get back into my crafty groove.  I was happy to color and so forth, but I felt like I had a crafters block!!  Is there such a thing??  ANYways...I did finish 4 cards, now I have to sit and blog!!  LOL!! 

This week over at Sentimental Sundays, we are being asked by our talented DT: Angi, to use Fabric on our cards!!  Oh...oh!!!  Now I was stumped, after I discovered I had fabric paper, yes folks!! Fabric paper and it's even adhesive!!!  Wahoo!!! 

We are being sponsored by Paper Pretties and they have such an array of fun images. 

I am using Pink Or Blue digital image.

I wanted to keep this pretty and feminine.  I have a few girlfriends that are expecting and will find out what they are having, so I am preparing a few of these!!   I used some beautiful paper by Pebbles: Special Delivery, which worked perfectly.   I love the pink and grey color combination.

Happy Sunday!!!
Today and all month long, I am celebrating my birthday at Sentimental Sundays.
Yes, my birthday is actually on Monday, but I have started the celebration a day early.

So for the month of October, the challenge each week will be "Happy Birthday", but there will be an additional elements that need to be followed.
So allowing with the Happy Birthday theme, you also have to have:
