Good afternoon everyone.
My post for Sentimental Sundays, is going up a little late this week.  We have a family crisis on our hands and I don't think it is even over yet.  My FIL told us his week, no said "NO one said raising kids was easy!!"  So without boring you with the details, let me share with you my card for this weeks challenge.

New BEGINNINGS

This card was prompted by the fact that my son is studying/practicing to take his drivers test!!
Can i tell you how scared I am!!!  OMG.... We recorded him, while he practiced in one car... AHHH.... I thought he was going to drive the car into the ditch!!  LOL
They all have to start somewhere right!!  Driving for him, will provide him with a boost of self-dependency and the confidence to be amongst these other crazy drivers!!  hehehe So wish us luck.

Bugaboo’s Second Annual Holiday Chaos Day #2

Sharing a quick post with you today... a card I made using this weeks sketch challenge over at Bugaboo Stamps.  It's a whole week of challenges, but I think Day #3 is going to put a kink in the process of trying to complete all 7 days.  I do not do well with color swatches, so we will see what happens.

I am sharing a card I made for our challenge over at Sentimental Sundays, which are being asked to see any type of embossing on your cards.  It could be wet or dry!!

I am using this super cute image called Puppy- Enough Reindeer?

Can you just feel the disappointment in his heart!!!  This watery eyes really did my heart in!!

I used wet embossing on my card today.  I used my Versa Mark Pen, to apply the ink on the bells and floor beneath him before covering it with clear and sparkly embossing powder.

Good morning-

It's been a rough month for me.  I got sick and then sicker from the medicine I was on.  So it has been a no fun zone around here.  Hubby has been making it his priority to make sure that I get better and I have.  I LOVE that man!! :)

Good morning!!

Happy Sunday...I love Sundays you know that?!?!

Well especially now, because Tommy can now start going with Daddy and Buddy over to grandma's house on Sundays!!!  YEAH!!!  It's only for a few hours, but do you know what a girl can get done in a few hours!!  LOL!!  Let me not give you a list!  :)

Turkey's coming for dinner

We had a little bit of rain here this week and it felt so good!  I love the rain as long as I can remain indoors to enjoy it.  So we enjoyed the cool evenings with some warm soup and hot chocolate for dessert!!  Yummy!

Long time no see huh?!?!

Well come back this afternoon and I will share a little secret with you!!  :)

I love the look of clean and simple cards and as you can see, it does not have to have tons of white space.

As long there is not lots of embellishments and other distraction....It can be considered a CAS card.

Sentimental Sundays Challenge #84 Snow, Blue and/or Glitter

Today is the second challenge of the over at Sentimental Sundays..

This weeks challenge is:

snow, blue and/or glitter

You can use choose to you all three, two or just one of those three things, but just make sure to use at least one, plus your sentiment.

I chose to play with "Christmas SB Skatng"

and here is a close up of the image itself:

So I distressed the edges and applied "Snow" around the base and the center base and sprinkled super fine glitter onto, before it dried out.   The image was colored with Copics and the snowflake background was cut out using my new Silhouette Cameo-Which I am in LOVE with!!
