GDT: 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #201: Nautical

Today, I am THRILLED...and honored to be this months guest designer, with the lovely and talented ladies at 4 Crafty Chicks.   I frequently play along with their challenges, but this is the first time I have the privilege of playing along with them.  So thank you ladies, for having me on board this month!!
This weeks challenge theme is:
NAUTICAL
When I received my GDT assignment sheet, I realized that I didn't have anything Nautical themed in my collection of stamps.  So I turned to my online buddies, who thankfully had this beauty.  Her name is: Dangling Sea Tilda.  She is from an older collection, but I didn't care...She was too cute and thought she fit the theme perfectly. I tried to make the background look like planks, but the wood-grain pattern is faintly apparent in the photos.

Well I hope that you will stop by 4 Crafty Chicks and play along with us this week.
Looking forwarding to seeing your entries.

I would like to share this card in the following challenges:
Muse Challenge #74
I loved the design, but have a hard time with white spaces, so I created my own background paper, keeping the same idea of the sketch in tact and adding my image to the side.

Hugs.

{S&C} w/ Magnolia #27: In Love

Good morning.
I can't believe how long it's been since I posted a Magnolia card!!
Well it's your lucky day, it's Team B's turn over at Stamp and Create w/ Magnolia!!
The fortnightly theme is:
IN LOVE
Now, I think I may have over thought this one, just alittle bit but I wanted to use some new stamps I got over the holidays. Tilda with Love Cake and Venice Background and I  just couldn't wait to color them up.  Now, this will be my very first time coloring a Magnolia scene and image like this!!
I had the hardest time lining up and getting a cleaning impression!!
I know it was me, but I really like the way it came together!!!  These colors are so bright and bold, that they match the little houses in the background perfectly!!

So I hope you enjoyed my card and will pay us a visit.

Cold, Snow, Christmas, New Year's/Celebrations. Colors are: Red, Green, Gold, white, blue, etc...

For my card today, I am using In the Snow Ski Tilda with non-traditional Christmas colors.
Oh I am loving these new Magnolia images from the Winter Wonderland Collection.
I have colored Tilda with my  Copics with Stardust glitter glue added to the scarf and snow.
I added liquid applique to add dimension to the snow, that in my eyes is being thrown at her!!
The patterned paper is from my fave company Crate Paper: Bundled Up

*Stamp and Create w/ Magnolia #23: Winter Gifts

Good morning!!
Happy Friday to you!!
It is extremely cold and windy today...BRRR!!!

Today, Stamp and Create w/Magnolia  has a new challenge for you.
Challenge #23:
Winter Gifts
Use a Winter Themed Magnolia stamp with image with a gift, or create a gift or gift packaging

What do we consider a Winter image?:
Cold, Snow, Christmas, New Year's/Celebrations. Colors are: Red, Green, Gold, white, blue, etc...

For my creation today, I am showing you my first attempt at a cracker box!
I have seen these being made and I just love the idea.  Not only that, the look is very unique and it really does make people ask....what is that?!?!
Now, I didn't think the frame on top of the image would look good, but now that it's adhered, I think I like it very much!!!  The black really ties all the colors together.
 Here is a side view.
I added liquid pearl drops on all 8 tops.  It really does take patients and someone with a very steady hand to apply these.  I love the look, so I had to be very..very slow!!  LOL
I added tulle and tied it in a bow at both ends.
Added a Maya Arts Wood Veneer snowflake, charm and poinsettia flowers, which are also on the patterned paper.
Here is a close up in my darling Christmas Eve Tilda.
She has been colored with Copics. The white of her apron and dress have been shimmered up with Stardust glitter glue.  The inside of the frame has been sponged with Antique and Walnut distress ink.

So I hope you enjoyed my card and will pay us a visit.

Stamp and Create w/ Magnolia #22: Winter: Not A Card

Good morning stampers!!!
It's Friday!!  YEAH!!!  I have been looking forward to the weekend all week!
No particular reason either, just excited!!  LOL

Today, Stamp and Create w/Magnolia  has a new challenge for you.
We have shifted into the Winter season.  So now until the end of the year our challenge will be Winter themed.  Here is a qualifying definition of the season:
Winter:
Cold, Snow, Christmas, New Year's/Celebrations. Colors are: Red/Green, Gold, white, blue, etc...
For my creation today I am using my very loved Dancing with Stars Tilda.
I really love the versatility of this stamp and who can resist an adorable Tilda with wings!!
The image has been colored with Copic markers.  I cut the image out, because I knew I wouldn't have enough space for an actual shaped frame. The background paper is Echo Park: Winter Park, which I added some Fran-tage around the edges.  The snowflake is an svg file from Silhouette.  I applied glossy accent and covered it with tinsel glitter. I also added liquid applique to the trim of her dress.
Now, this is just not a tag you are looking at!!  Nope, not all!! :)
It's also a gift card holder!!  Isn't that just a cute gift card holder!!
I love it and intend to make more for the holidays.

So I hope you enjoyed my card and will pay us a visit.

*Stamp and Create w/ Magnolia #19: Fall: Dress Up For Halloween

Good morning!
It's FRIDAY!!!
I am doing the HAPPY dance right now!!
It's been a long week for me, so I look forward to my weekends with my family.

Today is time for another fortnightly challenge over at Stamp and Create w/ Magnolia.
The challenge theme is:
Dress up for Halloween
(Halloween or Tilda/Edwin Dressed up: Princess, Knight, Viking, Wild Tilda, etc)

Now my DT friend Kathy, makes the most amazingly gorgeous cards.
So when I saw these candybar sleeves she made, I had to find the cut and make some of my own!!
So thank you, Kathy for being my inspiration to today's project!!
I am using Tilda as a Clown.
Once the machine finished cutting the the shape out, it was a cinch putting together.
I was going to add more flowers, but I decided to keep it cute and simple.

So I hope you enjoyed my card and will pay us a visit.

*Stamp & Create w/ Magnolia #18: Fall Feathers or Leaves

Good morning and happy Friday!!
It's the 13th too!!  :)
Has the weather been cooling down for you!!??
It has been here and it feels so good!!!
Love the transition from Summer to Fall!! sigh...

So welcome to another challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia.
The fortnight theme challenge is:
Fall Feathers and Leaves
Now, I was determined to use feathers on my card.  Not having a large collection of Magnolia's, nor the budget for new ones at the moment, I really had to think about my card this week.  So when I remembered I had Tilda with Egg and Chicken, I just got to creating.
I had no plan in my head...just feathers!!! LOL
I really love the way it turned out!!!  I used a lot of Cheery Lynn Designs dies for my project.
I was trying to get a good shot of the Wood Grain embossing, behind the chicken wire, but it just wouldn't focus well enough to come out clear.  It's there though...trust me!!! LOL
I've included a few other close ups of the my colored Magnolia, which is layered about 4 times and the beautiful flower.  That has to be my new favorite!!

So I hope you enjoyed my card and will pay us a visit.

I colored her using my Copic markers!!  I was shocked that I didn't pull out my distress inks!!  :)

The paper is from Prima Marketing and I love the SC wood veneers!!
Card is very clean and simple, but I think it makes for a gorgeous birthday card.

Happy Friday everyone-

Well it is time for another challenge at Stamp and Create w/ Magnolia.
The challenge theme, for the next 2 weeks is:
Christmas in July
For my card today, I am using Dancing with Stars Tilda, which I have colored with my distress inks and markers.  I am really loving coloring my images, especially my Magnolias in this medium.  I have used MME: Lost & Found Christmas for my background paper. Added tons of Stardust the edge of the card base, Tilda's wings and the rolled flowers. Crystal glitter glue the trim of her dress.
The base of the card was created/cut using my Silhouette.
Hope you aren't blinded by all the bling but, I do love the way it all looks.

*Stamp and Create: Summer Fun

Hello everyone-
Is it officially Summer yet?
Today IS the first day of SUMMER!!!!
YEAH!!!

At Stamp and Create w/Magnolia, we are starting off Summer with a brand new challenge:
Summer Fun (Outdoor Activities)
What is a Summer themed image?:
Flowers, Butterflies, Sports, Vacation, Sunshine, Outdoors, Father's Day, Water/Beach, Birthdays. Colors are Bright and Vibrant.
For my card today, I am using Tilda in Key Largo.
I thought she is perfect for this Summer fun challenge, because she has that cute summer dress, hair pulled back in little piggy's and she's found the most precious seashell.   Perfect right!! :)
I did some fun stitching in the background, to kind of fill the empty space.
I added sequins (which are very popular right now), to the corners and added pearl dimensions to the center.
The banner reads: "YOU FILL MY WORLD WITH SUNSHINE"

Good morning everyone-
I am on a good roll this weekend!!
I got so much coloring done....It feels so good!!!

So today and for the next 2 weeks, Stamp and Create with Magnolia, is challenging you to create a shaped card.  For my shaped card, I turned to my Cameo for help.  I don't have (Shaped) dies bigger than 5 1/2".
So I sorted through their enormous gallery and chose this "Eight Sided Ogee Arch Doily".
This is my favorite Magnolia image:  Tilda with BIG ice cream.
I have colored her with a combination of distress ink and tombow markers.
I used beautiful paper from Simple Stories: Vintage Bliss.
The flowers are from my good friend Archana
Here is a close up of my coloring.
