 Today I decided to share with you a corner bookmark that I made for my son, using Max, who is the newest addition to the Baby Bud family.  

Isn't he just the cutest thing.  I couldn't think of the right sentiment for this bookmark, so I had to create one from scratch.  "Freinds Remember"..... friends remember a lot of things, but in this case...it's where you left off in your book.

Baby Bud Molly!!

Hello everyone-

I hope that you are having a great weekend!!!  Just got back from our walk and remembered that I had to blog, before I got started on laundry and homework!!

So today I wanted to share with you a card that I made for our "FRIENDSHIP" challenge that is going on right now at the Baby Bud Designs Blog, using Baby Bud Molly.  Don't forget that these adorable images are available at the Etsy Store.

And here is a close up of the butterfly that I made using the petals of a flower.

I colored the white pearls black and then added some black dots and random white highlights throughout.

Kinda cute, huh?

And this 3 different size flowers, that have been soaked in Tattered Angel (Lemon Meringue) Glimmer Mist.

Then I just added a pearl in the middle, but the more I look at it, the more I think I may have to add more smaller pearls in the middle!!

Well enjoy your weekend...it's absolutely beautiful here today, makes me remember why I love California.

Hello everyone-

I hope that everyone is excited as I am about today being Friday!!!!

Buddy has been sick these few days....Had to go to the E.R. Tuesday night, he checked in with a 103.9 fever!!  So he's been really fussy....so I haven't had much time to post anything, until now.  He's actually sleeping...SHHHH!!!

I made this card using the amazing Lucy Abrams Sketch,

So here is my take on it!!!  I really like the sketch and it's simplicity!!!  So I took advantage and got started on my Thank You cards!!

Sewing machine suggestions.....anyone!

Hi everyone-
So I need you help with this!!!  I am searching the market for a new sewing machine!!!  YEAH!!!
I have my eyes on the Singer Curly 8770!!  It looks fantastic......but there are so many mixed reviews out there, for every model that I look at.  

You crafty ladies seem to use them a lot on your cards and pages, so I wondered if you can give me so suggestions of other machines, or if you have the Curly 8770...do you like it, Pros and cons!!

Anything at this point would help a lot!!

Trying a new technique w/ Puddle Jumper Reagan

Hello again-

So I this technique is very new to me, never tried it before and I'm not sure what I think yet.
It's called spotlighting!!!  It didn't feel quite normal cutting out portions of a fully colored image!!!  This way out of my norm, but i did it and I hope you like it.

Here is my card:

I used Puddle Jumper Reagan and K& Company, Carolyn Gavin: Greenhouse patterned paper. Isn't she just the cutest thing with her little poodle!!

My top 10 for 2010!!!

Happy New Year, my blogging friends!!!

It is so beautiful here today!!! We have had rain and cold winds for a week,  which just makes you want to stay home and do NOTHING!!!However, yesterday we took down the tree, re-arranged the living room, giving the baby more room to run around, since that is exactly what he is doing these days and today I re-arranged my craft room.....the boys went fishing, so I can do that!!!!

I have a few cards to post, but realized that I forgot to post my 10 for 2010!!!
