SweetStamps and Roses

Hello everyone-

Today is my very creative post with SweetStamps and I am super excited!!

When I received my DT package last week, it was like Christmas all over again!!

I was very impressed with these stamps and could not wait to getting stamping, but I had to wait. I have been out of my creative zone for a whole week, due to a viral infection and other personal matters. I tried not to let that stop me, because I couldn't disappoint Stacey and the rest of the team, so i made every effort throughout the week to work on my card.

Today's challenge theme is all about:

ROSES

Here is my card sample for this week

Although simple in design, I really like how the red in the roses stand out so bold and beautiful.

This is image is called "Rose and Bow" paired with Authentique Wonder paper pad and colored with my Copic Markers.

Here comes trouble

Today is another simple yet fantastic challenge over at Sentimental Sundays.

I chose to work with My Lil Monster- Here comes trouble!

Here is my card sample:

How cute is that!!! I love that little monster and that sentimental is so cute.

I am thinking of getting some more of the other My Lil' Monsters and creating a bunch of these onesie cards!!! The green trim on the onesie, I used Dots and Stripes paper by Echo Park.

A very simple card, but very fun to make!!

Black and white w/ C.C. Designs

Hell everyone-

Sorry I have been MIA all week, but I have NOT been feeling good at all!!

I finally got a virus that has had me in bed and extremely ill since I came back form CHA! YUCK!!!

I haven't had any energy to do anything, but lay in bed and ask that my boys keep the noise level down to about a 3.

This post was suppose to go up on Thursday, but when does blogger do exactly what it is suppose to do. It always seems to be temperamental for me when I'm not feeling my best.

The card I am going t share with you, is using a technique new to me.

Coloring on kraft paper, but with white and black color pencils only.

Jen has an amazing tutorial HERE, if you are interested in giving it a try.

Here is my card:

Not too bad right!! I had to keep the kraft on kraft theme going, so I used MME Funday Everyday Fun paper, which can be found at the All The Scrap Store AND....if you love MME like I do, then you will be happy to know that they have all 8 new sets available right NOW!!! Of course,. my order is not going in til tomorrow, so please save a set for me! LOL!!

Feel the LOVE w/ Henry

Good morning early birds!!

Wow, what a week this has been!!

The cabinets in my scraproom finally got installed, had to move my desk around today, so that I could occupy more floor and wall space. I am trying to maximize this room as much as I possibly can!!! I am in a way smaller room than before and I still lots of sorting to go through!! It all just seems never ending!!

Since it is Sunday, that means that it's time for another Sentimental Sundays Challenge.

This weeks theme is:

FEEL THE LOVE

For this weeks challenge, I decided to do something that I have never ever done before.

I have created a Book Card! I had to translate the measurements, but I think I followed the directions pretty good. Now, I have to say that I can't tell you, nor show you what's inside this box, since it is complete and there's a HUGE surprise for hubby inside. And since he likes to visit from time to time....I can't let the cat out of the bag just yet. I will however, let you all know once he receives this card.

So here is my weeks sample:

I fell in love with this guy, the minute I saw him at the ALL THAT SCRAPS store and new that I had to do something special with him and I think I achieved exactly that!!

I can't wait to show you the rest of this card!!! I think this has to be my best project this year!!!

Lots of stitching, dry embossing, lots of distress ink, lots Maya Road products. Well for the time being, while I make your head spin with the suspense!! LOL!!
