{S.S} #196: Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone!!
The rain has stopped, at least for now!!!
We have a long drive a head of us tomorrow and I hope it does not rain!!
I really do not like driving in the rain, I get anxiety!!!

Well today at Sentimental Sundays, it's my turn to host this weeks challenge.
I have created a sketch for us to play with and we are being sponsored by Rick St. Dennis.
Here is my sample:
I am playing with this gorgeous image called:A Stitch in Time
The entire image is layers and layers!!
There is a piece of transparency and then the little boy is on top of that.
Here is a closer look:
I had a lot of fun putting this together!!  The black piece of patterned paper is embossed in a brick texture too, just to make it look like the clock is on a wall or in front of one.
I chose "TODAY" as my sentiment, because I know that I try to live in the moment.  Try to make the best that each day brings upon us, I know it's hard, but I do the best that I can with what what I have; each and every single day.

Well here is a look at this weeks sketch:
Hope you will join us this week, looking forward to seeing your interpretation.
I would like to share this card in the following challenges:

*Flying by...

It's Sunday and I LOVE my Sundays!!!
I am playing catch up today!!
Whew....Lots to do, with such little time!
That has been the story of my life lately!!! :)

So today at Sentimental Sundays, we want to see "Metal" on your projects.
Brads, charms, corners, wire...silver, copper , colored or pewter!!
We want to see any and all.
We are being sponsored this week, by Rick St, Dennis and we were generously given images to play with this week.  I chose to work with High Flyin Mouse.
Is he coooooool or what?
My Buddy loves planes, so when I saw this image I knew it would make a perfect (future) birthday card!
I colored the image using Copics and tried a new color combination, for making the plane look rustic!
I think it came out pretty good.  I'm pretty proud of myself!!
My patterned paper is from Glitz and the sentiment is from IBS:The Sky's The Limit stamp set.
It worked perfectly with the image!

So I hope you will break out your metal detector and locate all your metal embellishments and join us this week.  We are looking forward to seeing what you create.
Make sure you stop by Sentimental Sundays Challenge Blog and see the amazing creations created by the design team.
