Here is my project using Birdie and Balloon.   My little ones have a handful of birthdays coming up and at the moment, do not have the time to make personalized birthday cards for each.  So instead, I am making this little bags, which will hold a gift card for the birthday recipient!  :)

FTHS Love and Friendship Blog Hop

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps Blog Hop!
Yes, From the Heart Stamps is back!!!!
Faith is doing well and getting back to doing what she loves most!!!
We have a Love and Friendship theme this month.
Our designers are each showing a project created with this theme.
If you have arrived from Brenda's blog, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.
Here is my project, using Faithful Friends Brotherly Love
Nothing says "LOVE" and "FRIENDSHIP" like the bond between siblings.  I live this reality every day through my two youngest boys.  They are the best of friends and the worst of enemies at times, but those feuds don't last too long!  :)

{FTH} My last DT Post

Hi everyone-
Today is my DT post with From the Heart Stamps.  This isn't a goodbye forever, I will be back!!!
There is a lot going on a personal level that I need to put 110% effort into and I am not giving my DT responsibilities the attention it deserves! :(    However; like I said, I will be back.  I love FTH images... Faith is an AMAZING friend to have and I am so glad for all the support she and the rest of the team have given me.

So I must share a few images before saying goodbye.

I am loving this new Digging Dog image.  My seven-month-old pup is doing that right now to our yard and it's very frustrating.  I have no idea of how to get her to stop!  She has plenty of toys to play with!  So not sure of what else to do, but just give her big hugs!  :)

Two of my favorite things to color; joined together in one image!!!  Bunny and Butterflies is my favorite new release image!!!  I followed this weeks sketch and "twist" to create this fun and simple card.   Lots of masking, sponging and glitter!!!  :)

Even though I won't be on the team,  I will still be joining in on the Stamp of the Month Challenge!!
I can create a card a month right?!?!  We will see!!  :)

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you all soon again!

Hugs and see you later.

If you have arrived from Brenda's Blog, then you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.

My C.A.S.E. subject was Lyn  and I C.A.S.E.'d this beautiful card of hers HERE
Now here is my project, using Easter Egg Tulip
Medium: Copics
Glitter Glue: Stardust
Die: Taylored Expressions (Thanks)
Other: Fun Foam (Michaels)
She used a tutorial from Splitcoastampers, which she does provide in her post.
I, however; have an easier method for you!!
My SECRET is FUN FOAM!!!
You can find it at Michaels or JoAnn's for about $1 per sheet!!
It's easy because you just cut it once and it gives you the dimension, without the gluing and alignment of 3-4 layers!!
***  I also use this material for creating my shaker cards too!!***

Now head over to Cammy's Blog and see what she has created.

Thanks for hopping with us today. The hop will end on Monday, March 7th at 6 am EST. Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday, March 9th.

{FTH} Sketch #141: Just Relax

Good morning and Happy Hump Day!
It seems like forever since I've actually colored or created a card and now that I think about it, it has!! Way too long!!  I actually had some time to sit down and put a card together!   If you know me, there was a happy dance being done in my pajamas too!  :) Sucks having a hobby you can't enjoy when other factors in life have taken precedence.

So let me share my card with you!!   I am playing along this week with From the Heart Stamps Sketch #141.  See sketch below.  I also flipped the sketch to fit my requirements of the card.
This weeks twist is; Easel Card, which I managed to pull off doing the sketch and twist this week.
Here is my easel card. I used Birdbrain Birdbath Chick, which is colored on kraft cardstock, using Prismacolor pencils.  I added glossy accents to the bubbles, just for more added texture.

Hope you will try to join us this week.

I would like to share my card in the following challenges:

{FTH} If you NEVER chase your dreams..

Morning everyone-
I am stopping by to share a card I made for this weeks challenge over @ From the Heart Stamps.

Since the boys had a 3-week vacation, I didn't have too much time crafting.  I did, however; manage to compile a stash of stamps I will be selling.  With such limited time these days, I've realized that I won't be able to use all that I have in this lifetime!!  hehe  It's a lot, just ask my hubby!

So I just LOVE this weeks sketch challenge and I just LOVE how the card came together.
For my card today, I used Wind Blown Penguin
I used the sentiment :
"If you never chase your DREAMS, you'll never catch them"
Along with the balloons that the penguin is holding!!

Here is this weeks sketch challenge w/ a tWiSt, which by the way is:
Black, white, plus one more color.

Hope you will find some time to join us this week.
I would like to participate in the following challenge(s):

{FTH} Laughing Snowmen + Sketch #128

Good morning!
Are you ready for tomorrow??  I am!!  I get to spend it with some really amazing people in my life and give thanks for all their love and support. Although the drive will be long and cold, I have an amazing co-pilot to keep me company.

So today, I wanted to share my card for this weeks sketch challenge over at From the Heart Stamps.
I love how simple the sketch is, which made me gravitate towards Imke's cardmaking style.   I love backing all my patterned paper on neutral cardstock, but that is not the way Imke does it!!  :)   Despite stepping out of my comfort zone a little... I really like the results.

Here is this weeks' sketch and twist challenge.  Just click on the image to be taken to the post, so you can link up your project.
I know this is a busy time for lots of us, but I hope you can join us.

I would like to take part in the following challenges this week:

Here is my project, using Hello Snowman

For my CAS card, I created a water colored background using Distress inks.
I used a small acrylic block and applied my colors onto it, spritzed a few times and then pressed onto my watercolor paper.  Once dried, I trimmed and applied some glittered stickles using a  star background stencil.  (Hard to tell in the picture)

For my over the top card, I added lots of layers.
I had to dust off some of my beloved dies for this project.

Paper: BoBunny Powder Mountain
Medium: Copic

Other: Loose Glitter and Stickles
Vellum

Thanks for hopping with us today.

Morning.
Have you seen this weeks' Sketch Challenge over at From the Heart Stamps?

I am using a new image recently added to the shop called: In the Meadow Snowmen
I was experimenting with my background, but it was a fail.  So much time went into it, that I just couldn;t trash it.  So I made a card anyways.  I actually like it now that it's assembled.  :)

Make sure to stop by the blog and check out the inspiration for the rest of the team.

FTH October Blog Hop

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. We have a Meet the Design Team theme this month, to welcome our new teammates. Our designers are showcasing lots of gorgeous projects and telling us a bit about themselves, too.
As you hop along, please leave a comment on each blog. One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the FTHS store. And additionally, we have a “scavenger hunt” game with some prizes right here on the FTHS blog!

If you have arrived from Brenda's blog, then you are on the right trackIf not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.

For my project today, I am using Prickles Says Hello
I have a hard time doing "Clean and Simple" cards, but I love the way this one turned out.
My favorite technique is paper piecing!  I love how the layers and the little cuts can make such a huge difference on a card.  On the card, the banner and little hedgehog paws have been cut out, colored and layered on top of the original image.
------------------
And here is a little bit of info on me:
How long have you been on the From the Heart Stamps design team?
I have been with From The Hearts Stamps for 2 years and 8 months, to the date!!  :)  Time flies when you are having fun!

What is something about you that none of the other team members know?
I have 2 Volkswagon Bugs!  The 63 is Candy Apple Red and I call her lady!  The 64, won't be completed for another year or 2.  Finding original parts take a little bit of time to locate, but it's all worth it in the end.

What is your favorite coloring technique?
In this order: Copics,  Color Pencils (Faber-Castell) and  Watercoloring (Distress Inks)

What is your favorite category of images in the FTHS store?
Faithful Friends and Seasonal Celebrations

Who is the last person you sent a card to?
I will admit that I need to get better at this, but besides the loads of Christmas cards I send out?  The last person I sent a card to on my team, was Imke.  I sent her some Habanero seeds!!  :)

Why do you like to make handmade cards?
I love making cards, because I love being able to bring a smile to someone's face.  Not only that, but my recipient is getting a one of a kind card and that makes it extra special.

What is a good tip for printing digital images?
Don't waste paper!  Print as many images on one sheet as you can.
I typically print about 6-8 images on one 8.5 x 11
If your die has cut into the space of another digital image, don't toss it!!
Fussy cut the image out !!

Describe a card making mishap and your solution to fix it.
When using a colorless blender to clean up mistakes, allow the colorless solution to dry, before going back over the area.
------------------
Now head over to Cammie's blog and see what she has created.
Thanks for hopping with us today. The hop will end on Monday October 5th at 6 am EST. Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday October 7th.

From The Heart Sketch Challenge #118

Hi again!!
Seems like Monday's are the days, I overload my blog with cards!! LOL
I will try to switch things up next week.

For my card today, I had to really think outside the box.  I ordered these wobble things from this lady online a few months ago and they've just been sitting on my desk literally at starring at me!!
I really needed to find out if I was going to love these things or not.
So for my card today, I am using:
I printed the image three times.  I colored one of the images in it's entirety, colored just the head in the second and the hands on the third.  I cut the head and the hands from the second and third image out.  I back the head with the wobble and added the hands, which give it a little more dimension.
So here is a quick phone video of what the image does!! :)
Cool right!!  I'm excited, as it's my first time using these and I love it!!
Here is a peek at this weeks sketch challenge and twist.
Hope you can join us!

I would liek to share this in the following challenge:
Hugs.

From the Heart Stamps Sketch #117

Hello again!!
I'm back to share a card I made for this weeks sketch challenge over at From The Heart Stamps
This is image called: Candy Run
I just love the way it came out.  I used a liquid mask to create the background, but I think I left it on too long and so when I went to rub it off, some of the paper began to come up with the mask as well.   (To the right if the balloons)
Here is this week sketch and the twist is: Lots of WHITE
Can't wait to see wat you create and remember that you must post the sketch in your blog write-up.
Check out the shop too, lots of new images being posted!!  :)
(That was just a little enabler alert!! )

Have a great week.
