4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #202: Inspired by a Song

Good morning!!
What a week of catch up this has been.  We went away for the 4th of July weekend and came back late Tuesday evening.  So it's been fun, but I really looked forward to my crafty down time.
Today, I am sharing a card I made for this weeks challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.
This weeks theme is:
Inspired for a Song
I pulled out a goodie, but oldie stamp from The Greeting Farm: OA: Valentine
It is a Valentine's stamp set, but I found it to be very suitable for my song selection.
My son was hanging out with his girlfriend and I thought of make him a card that he could give to her.  I know, I am thinking way head of schedule, but at least I will be prepared!!  :)
My song selection for this card is: In Love on Christmas by NSYNC!!
I know please...please don't laugh at me!!  hehehe   It is an old song, but I am getting in the Christmas spirit and I need it, if I am going to get my Christmas cards done in time.

So I hope that you will join us this week, looking forward to seeing your entry.

Black & White, plus One Other

Good morning and happy Thursday!!
A really quick post today, to share a card I made that fit a few challenges on the board.
Many of you don't know, but I am a HUGE TGF fan and collector!!!  LOL
I LOVE their stamps, but sadly I do not bring them out as often as I should.
I am going to change that though!!  I promised to create a card twice a month, using my beloved collection!!!

Today I using, Flirty Anya, which I have colored with my Copics and little bit of color pencils.
I love this monochromatic look, with the pop of color.
My sister's birthday is coming up in a few weeks, so she be mailed out in just a few days time.
I did some fussy cutting and added dimensional tape to the back.
That pretty banner is from Cheery Lynn Designs, which I just received last week.
A girl can never have enough dies, right?!?!

JUGS #234: Wild Card

Hi everyone-
I'm posting a little late this morning!!!  Had a super long night!!! My hubby and baby are not well...and you know how it is having a sick grown man and a baby!!!  LOL...It's like having 2 babies!!  :)
Very sadly, today is my last post as guest designer over at "JUGS"
I am honored to have had 5 amazing weeks with these ladies!!   There challenges are awesome and the talent on the team is undeniable!!  Thank you again Nancy and Vicki, for the opportunity!!!  Hope I get a chance to come back in the near future!!  :)

So this weeks challenge is a "TALL and SKINNY"
You must create a card that is: 3.5 x 5.5 in size!!!
I have never made a card this size and I must say, I kinda like!!  :)
My image is from The Greeting Farm: Later Sk8ter  and my paper is from Bella Blvd: Max
The image has been colored with Copics. I used my favorite star embossing folder to add some background interest!! Can you see my glue spot in the corner!!!  LOL.... I could not find my vellum tape and had to find a quick substitute!!

I hope you like my card this week. Make sure you come by and see the amazing inspiration by the rest of the team at JUGS.

Thinking about you

Good morning...good morning!!
Are you off today? Do you have any plans?
Me? Hmm...It was so warm yesterday, that the boys actually started work on the backyard.
Clearing out an area in the backyard, so that I can grow my vegetable garden.
So excited, but still a ways to go.

Yesterday, I got some time to be crafty.  And sticking to my new years resolution, pulled out a stamp from the pile and went to work.  I pulled out a few actually, but those will come later!!
I've had this stamp for ages and my little sister is the only one who has used it.  So she has been well neglected and I feel bad.  That feeling didn't last long once I found a couple of challenge she would be perfect for.

Here is The Greeting Farm: Laundry
Is she just not precious, sitting on that pile of clothes?
I had so much fun coloring her and doing a little bit of paper piecing too.
I flipped the sketch and The inspiration I used from the photo were pillows, blankets and some of the black and white pattern too.

I would like to enter in the following challenges:

Thanks for visiting today...I appreciate you stopping by.
