FTHS Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps Blog Hop!
We have a SPRING theme this month.
Our designers are each showing a project created with this theme.
If you have arrived from Brenda's blog, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.
Here is my project, using Love You Mouse
I just LOVE this image!  I remember when I was a little girl pulling petals and singing "He loves me, he loves me not!" Flower after flower, I pulled and repeated it over and over.... Just don't remember if he loved me or not!!  LOL

Image: Love You Mouse
Medium: Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Prismacolor Pencils
Patterned Paper: Lawn Fawn: Perfectly Plaid
Sentiment: WPlus9 Happy Mail

I am also playing along in Kathy Racoosin 30 Day Challenge.  She encourages us to color for at least 5 mins a day... You don;t even have to complete a card.  I needed this little motivation, since I have been sick for sometime now and I couldn't disappiont my team by not joining the hop.
This is the image I posted yesterday:
You can join in on the following media links:

 #thedailymarker30day
And on her blog, where she shares amazing tips, tricks and tutorials
The Daily Marker
Now head over to Cammy's blog and see what she has created.
As you hop along, leave a comment on each blog.
We will select a random winner from the comments on each blog and on the FTHS blog to win one image of your choice.
Our hop will end on Sunday,  March 12th 2017 at 6 am, and the winners will be posted on Wednesday,  March 15th.
I would like to share this card in the following challenge:
Freshly Made Sketches #277
Allsorts #405
Animal Friends #48

Thanks for hopping with us today.

    1. Kim- Thank you for the compliment!! I don't think I've come close to mastering water coloring, but I do love that it's very forgiven! When using the watercolor paper through your printer make sure to change the setting to rough texture. It took me a few lessons to figure this out, otherwise you will have residual ink (toner) flecks on your paper!!

  18. Hi Nazeema, a super card love your colouring and the background, I have a set of water colour pencils I'm afraid to use... thanks for the tip about how to print onto watercolour paper and for the inspiration,... Hope you are feeling better soon... have a great week... Megan

    1. Megan... Don't be afraid of the pencils.. The only tip I can offer for pencils is use is very lightly wet brush, so you can break down the pigment with a lot more control! I will do an image next week using my watercolor pencils and see if I can show you! But I love my pencils too!! Thank you for the compliment and for stopping by. Really appreciate it. I am not 100%, but this week has already been a better week. :) Have a great week as well. :)
