Good morning....Calypso here and I am so happy to be posting for IBS this week.
When I returned from my vacation, I was happy to find May release stamps in my mailbox!! I have been swooning over what the rest of the team has created thus far with them!! So today it's my turn to sprinkle a bit of inspiration.
Isn't this lovely? My card is a standard A2 size, so this should provide you with some indication of how big the stamp is. I wanted to make the flowers pop. So I colored them with a white color pencil. I was not too pleased with the results, because the black line was now every faint. I could not locate a sharp pencil to trace over the lines, so I had to come up with plan B.
Since color pencils leave a waxy smooth finish, this prevented me from trying any other type of medium. Instead of starting all over, I turned to fussy cutting!! :) Nothing like a like patience and a good pair of small scissors can't fix!
Here is a closer look at the flowers. Now it POP's like I wanted it to!! Love coloring on kraft cardstock.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you've enjoyed today's project.
