{FTH} Go team, USA!!!

Hello and good morning!
I can not believe how quickly this week is going!!
I know this is a bit of old news, but did you happen to see the Soccer game on Sunday?
The last 20 seconds of that game were incredibly intense and unforeseen!!
Well USA is still in it and we will see how the game against Germany goes tomorrow!! :)
So being in the spirit of these Soccer games, I made a very red, white and blue card.

I went through my Silhouette files and found that I had a Soccer ball cut and I went from there.
My image is part of the Birdbrain Football Fanatics set.  This stamp set has three different birdbrain images and since my theme was not Football, I used just the one holding the banner.  :)
After I finished photographing my card, I started second guessing the colors on the banner. I wanted to change it, but hubby said  it was fine!!!  What do you think.
The found this "USA" prong brad in my stash the other day and thought it was a perfect embellishment.

Well hope you enjoyed my card today and remember that there is still plenty of time to enter our weekly sketch challenge.  You can get all the details HERE

I would like to share this in the following challenges:

Have a great week and I will see you soon!!

Hugs,

  1. We should deny that, then I would have made a card for Germany. Alas, I did not make it to tomorrow **lol** I have so many American friends out there so i keep my fingers crossed for both teams. The U.S. has a good coach (I say this not only because he is German), he was also once "our" coach and has become world champion with the german team.

Totally LOVE your card. The die cut is the best- nothing would fit better for a soccer card. And with this image- just great.

  6. Fantastic card! how clever is this design, I love everything about it. It has a masculine feel, yet softened with the flowers. awesome! xx

Good luck to all teams left in the World cup, England were a total shambles, we don't deserve to be there in the first place in my opinion, our players have no passion, they only see £ signs.
People have said that England have one of the best football league in the world (the premiership) so why can't we do well in tournaments. I reckon that that would be because most of the players in the premiership are not English, and play for their own countries, and the English players that are there are not as good. Like I said, just my opinion though.
