{SS} #156: Love

Good morning sweeties!
How is everyone doing today!?!?!
I have to tell you that I am a bit better than I was, this time last week.
I am still going through the healing process and still taking antibiotics, but overall I am doing a lot better.
Today, I am sharing a project piece I made for  SweetStamps.
This weeks theme is:
LOVE
A few weeks ago, I was ins inpired by one of my talented DT sister:  Angie created a beautiful  Monogram Necklace on SweetStamps sister site Globecraft and Piccolo Blog, which can be found HERE.   I love how she stamped the image onto the hot embossing powder and the entire look of her necklace.  So last week, I gave it a go myself.  I used the heart shape form the Assorted Charm Shapes pack.  I applied Embossing Powder Adhesive to the piccolo and dust the charm with Mermaid Tears Embossing Powder, shook off the excess and heat embossed it.  I did this 3 times.  On the 4th time, I applied the embossing adhesive to Apple Blossom Branch  stamp and set it aside.  I also open the jar of Mardi Gras Embossing Powder.  I started the heat embossing process on the 4th layer.  While it's still hot I added  sprinkles of Mardi Gras Embossing Powder in random spots and kept heat embossing.  Every quickly, I took the Apple Blossom Branch stamp and stamped the charm, while the embossing powder was still hot.  I left the stamp sitting in the embossing powder til it cooled completely.  Once I removed the stamp, I was left with a very deep impression of the Apple Blossom Branch stamp I used!!  (Sorry, I forgot to take a photo)
Although I loved the detail of the impression the way it way.  I decided to take it one step further.
In just the impressions I filled in this space with Glastique Finishing Glaze and added crystal gems to the centers of he flowers.  I did not even attempt to speed up the drying process on this, since I did not want to ruin it by adding more heat.  So be patient and let it dry over night!!!  The results are well worth the wait!!!
My hubby saw it and thought it was real metal!!!  I told him no babe it's faux metal!!!  LOL
So this will be given as a gift to my little sister who loves handmade jewelry!!!
