Heart My Hobby: SweetStamps Monthly November Challenge

Good morning sweeties!!

Today, is the 15th and that means it's time for the monthly technique challenge at SweetStamps.

This months theme is:

Microbeads

Oh...I love it when a plan comes together!!

Last week, I had a friend ask me to help her decorate some pens for her desk!!

She didn't want anything bulky or with flowers on it!!

So, it took me a few days to think of something but, I had so much fun making these.

Here is a quick little step by step.

First, supplies:

The only thing that you will absolutely need, that is not shown above is double sided sticky tape.

The sticky tape is already added to the strip of paper, which is 1.25 x 4.00 inches.

Once I stamped my inks, I laid the pen in the middle of the tacky tape. I then rolled the pen towards me, then away from. This is just so you get a smooth wrap around your pen.

I then added another pieces of tacky tape over the pen.

It's ok, if you overlap..You will not be able to feel or even notice, once you complete the next step.

I then rolled the pen in the Sugar Beads!!! When you pick up, you may notice that there are still some tacky spots. Just rolled it through the Sugar Beads again!!! I made 8 of these, but my excited little friend took them all, before I could even photograph them all together. She had no idea, that I was also working on mt DT assignment!! LOL!!!
