IBS: Chalk Technique Blog Hop

Good morning-
I am so excited about today's hop and I hope that you are too!
There has been a new technique swarming around lately and I am so glad that Joanna picked it as this month challenge hop.  I love the look and have never tried it til now!!!
I knew right away which stamp set I wanted to play with. 
I pulled out the Pirates Stamp set, which is one of March's new release and went to work. 
Here is my sample card.
I took my anti-static pouch and rubbed it all over my black cardstock.
I then stamped my image with Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. 
I used a sketch from Deconstructed Jen, that worked great in showcasing this technique and stamp set. 
Once I trimmed the black cardstock, I outlined the edge with a white color pencil and  even drew birds around the boat.  Did you catch that? Had to distress the edges, add twine and a charm.  Very fitting.
