IBS + 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #205: Crazy Egg-Anything Goes

Hello...Hello!!
I know...Please do not be mad!!!  With all these new releases going on this week, I have mixed up my posting dates!!  Argh!!!  I've gotten it all straightened out now!!

Today, I say farewell to the lovely ladies at 4 Crafty Chicks!
It has been 5 wonderfully amazing weeks!! Leanne, Lori, Tina and Tamie...
Thank you so much for having me!!  This is not good-bye..It's a simple, I'll see you again soon!!
This weeks challenge is: ANYTHING GOES and I decided to do something a little different.
I've been wanting to play with the wood burning kit, my husband bought me a few months ago.  I saw this being done some time ago and I've had it on my to-do-list for ages.
I bought this chest from Michael's awhile back and it looked like the perfect canvas for this project. I had no idea what I was doing and how well it would turn out, so here went nothing!
I stamped the flower from Friends Forever by Inspired by Stamping using a light colored ink.  Once you start burning the wood, the ink is no longer apparent or noticeable.
I sanded the top before I got started.  Once I finished tracing the the flowers, I colored it with my Copic markers.
I went back and sanded the the image again....The color seemed really bright, so I colored washed the entire box with a watered down white paint. I wiped down the box with a dry cloth.
Love the final results.
Love the simplicity.

Hope you well come us this week...I know everyone LOVES an anything goes challenge.  Have a great week and I will see you soon.

Hugs,

SweetStamps #180: Christmas Greenery

Good morning!
Are you getting excited about our August release party happening tomorrow??
The new stamps are really something special and I know you will love them!!
I already put in an order for the entire collection!!  That is how awesome they are.

Well I am here today, to share the  project I made for this weeks "Christmas Greenery" challenge.
The Poinsettia Flower was stamped and embossed on watercolor paper.  I used distress inks to the color the petals and leaf.  I them trimmed each one out and layered it on top of one another.  Creating a beautiful 3D flower.  I added yellow beads to the center for even more dimension.

{IBS} Sunshine, Beach, Summer, Vacation

Good morning-
How are you?  I have missed you all so much..I mean seriously. I am looking forward to things getting back to "NORMAL" for me.  It really does stick when things don't run as smoothly as we anticipate them too.  I am never prepared for the worse case scenario and I seem to suffer tremendously for it.    Lesson to be learned.
So I am back today, with a bright and fun card to share with you.
I made this card using Inspired by Stamping July's new release: Summer Fun
I am loving this set....Love the images and bold sentiments.
So many possibilities to be created and such little time!!  :)
I created this fun and bold Summer card, using the majority of the set!!  Love it when that happens!!  :)  Love the those sandals!!!  I went through the department store the other day and saw all these beautiful colors of sandals.
I added glaze to the sandals and the colored words!!!  Adds a little fun interest to the card.  Can't forget the gem!!  I know I love sandals that have bling...bling and lots of bling!!  :)

So if you get a chance swing by the Inspired by Stamping shop and see all the beautiful stamps and the Inspired by Stamping Blog, to see all the projects the DT has been creating with them.  You will truly be inspired.

I would like to share this card in the following challenges:

4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #204: Inspiration Photo

Good morning...
Sorry for my lack of posts last week.  We had an emotional week and I'm still trying to come to grips with reality.  I will share more later, when I can sit to write without my eyes filling up with tears.  So today is the start of another challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.
Here is this weeks inspirational photo:
Isn't such a beautiful cake!!  That is another craft I wish I had time to indulge in!!
Only if I had more hours in the day!!
Here is my take on this weeks challenge:
I struggle with color combinations...believe it or not, but that is a fact.
So I browsed through the thousands of sheets of pattern paper and could not find exactly what I was looking for. So I opted to just colored cardstock, that is the for sure way of knowing I am playing with the correct colors.   For my image, I am using Some Odd Girl: Big Day Tobie stamp.  Colored with my Copics.
I added glaze to the icing of the cake and the eyes.  There is also shimmer on the flames of the candles, but you will have to click on the picture to get a better look.

Hope you have a wonderful week.

Good morning,
For me, simple isn't always an easy approach, especially when it comes to making cards.  I love pattern, texture and colors.  When I stamped this image, I had no idea of the direction I was going.  Stamping on colored card stock was not a "normal" practice of mine, but figured I would try it.
Started the process by stamping Flower of the Month: Lily of the Valley onto the light pink card stock and heat embossed in white powder. Now for the fun part!!!  I selected a pink of pink that was slightly darker than the pink card stock.
I colored the card stock, like I typically would any image.
I just love how well it came out.  If I didn't tell you that I colored on the colored card stock, would you be able to to tell?  :)  I used the new Fancy Labels 3 Die for the sentiment banner.
Here is a close up of the coloring and image.
I hope that you all are having a great Summer.

Hugs,

This weeks challenge is all about:
GREAT OUTDOORS

I had another creation in mind when putting together my projects, but my hubby said
he liked this image better!!  So I went with his choice, of course!!  hehehe
This image is from Kraftin Kimmie: Cherish the Little Moments
Colored with my loved Copic markers.  The paper is Imaginisce: Outdoor Adventure Collection, love how it works well with the image.  There is plenty of glitter on the flowers and even the dress, which was added with a Gelly pen.

I will be away til mid week, but when I return I hope to bounce around and leave some comments for you all.   Hope you have a wonderful week.

I would like to share this is in the following challenge:

Good morning sweeties-
This week at SweetStamps, we have an ANYTHING GOES, challenge going.
Did you have a chance to see the new ArtsyFartsy Stamps too!!  Oh they are hilariously a must see.  Check them out HERE
I made a bottle tag for my Anything Goes project this week.
I used the I'm a Winer Clear Stamp set.  Are you a winer?!?!  I know I am, well not at the moment, but I do love my Moscato, Riesling, Sparkling and Cabernet wines. :) I'm still nursing, so I have not had any in a very long time.  yummmmmmm
The sentiment down at the bottom is from Simple Greetings Clear Stamps the last release we had in May.
Here is a close up of the image.  You can see I added glossy accent to the bottle and glass.
There is also small Rose pearls around the frame/  I just love adding small details like that and the pearl pens, make it easy to do.
